WEEKEND AWAY

Happy 5 year anniversary to us! (a month late... but still!!!!)

I just used the last of my AWESOME gift certificate to my FAVORITE hair salon to get a MUCH needed haircut... Unfortunately, she cut it too short.... I told her short... but she overcompensated and for the first time in like 5 visits... I don't love it....
But, it's hair... and it will grow back and look good in it's own time and at least it will be easy to take care of since it's so short!!! I still love that place and the experience was very relaxing which was just what I needed before we set off for our 2 whole nights and 2 whole mornings away....

I am most looking forward to the peace and quiet - Katie talks so much that I honestly just want some quiet time to let my brain settle a little!!!! We will go see some movies and go eat some peaceful dinners where we don't have to sing and play trains while we eat and hopefully SLEEP IN!!!!!

So... Katie gets to hang out with Mimi and Grumps and we get to go off and relax - so we will catch you after the long weekend!!!!

Then next week, we get to head to Philly for a quick visit with uncle Jeremy Payne and then Grammie and Grampie are coming to visit!!! It's a busy and exciting 2 weeks for us!!!
