We took Katie to Philadelphia to see the Please Touch Museum and then to pick up Uncle Jeremy from the airport for our special 14 hour visit:)
The Please touch museum was awesome. She loved every second of it and had no interest in eating lunch because she just wanted to PLAY MORE......
She spotted this Sesame Street/Muppet display the second we walked in!
I don't know who was more excited about the cars that you could change all the parts on....
They had a whole room just for playing with water... of course she was SOAKED through on one whole sleeve despite the smocks they provide.... but she loved it!
Yup.... the "Big" piano - only she was too light to make it work on her own and had to jump to make it actually go off.

They had a whole room set up with Alice in Wonderland theme - include a SUPER CREEPY Tea Party set up...
They had a mini Shop Rite.... I was dying to go check it out... but Katie was not in any sort of a rush.... they had little carts and aisles full of food all sorted, and a bakery and a meat counter and it was just HEAVEN!
After the museum we went to the hotel for a nap and then went to this AWESOME diner for dinner called the Pop Shop... then it was off to the airport to pick up Unca Jeremy.... His flight was a little delayed and there was a delay getting off once they landed, so we ended up in the cell phone waiting lot for about 40 minutes and We just keep looking at all the different rental car buses driving by.... Katie was an ANGEL I couldn't get over how patient she was just waiting. When we realized it would be a little while longer, we drove back to the hotel (2 mins away) and Katie and I got out so we could get ready for bed and Dave could pick up Jeremy.... but Katie kept asking for Unca Jeremy - I told her it was time for night night and she looked at me and said, "no, Unca Jeremy coming" so we had to make the boys come up and say hello before they got to have their food in the lobby rest...
The next morning we ate breakfast in the hotel and then left to go get Jeremy at his hotel so we could adventure in philly.... we only had a little while - but we drove around a bit and then had an awesome lunch at Tony Lukes before dropping him back off at the airport and heading home to see Grammie and Grampie who were waiting for us.
We had a great time and Katie was an EXCELLENT traveler and was so excited to see uncle Jeremy... she kept asking for Luke and Uncle Jess - although we aren't sure why she doesn't say Auntie.... something to work on!
