Another week, another update.
Katie gained another 4 ounces and got gold stars from the doctor today - so we continue to press on with the breastfeeding. It's VERY tough on me, as she has taken to wanting to eat every hour for about 30 to 45 minutes at a time, and then is ready to start all over again an hour after she last started. So, Mommy hasn't been getting much sleep at all at night.
I try to get naps during the day when she's sleeping and Dave can watch her - so cross your fingers that she breaks this habit by the end of next week when Dave goes back to work, leaving us home alone.
When she is awake these days, she's much more alert and she's definately calmed down in terms of temperature issues - so she is regulating her own temperature much much better!!!!
Our days are still flying by- I feed her, Dave feeds me, and we try to sleep when we can - it's tough - but very manageable considering how bad some other people have it their first few weeks.
I'm doing VERY well - the recovery is going remarkably well, I'm just very tired and feel some pains every once in awhile which I'm guessing are my organs moving back into their pre-pregnancy locations:)
Hope all is well with u all! We'll keep you posted as more stuff happens and we get more sleep!!!

Have fun with your beautiful little daughter! I wish I could hold her!!!
Lady had octuplets in CA the other day, stop complainin'. AND she already has SIX other kids. (GET ANOTHER HOBBY LADY!!!) Am I right?
Hang in there.... Sleep will come and pain will go away.
Soon when you look into her eyes you will forget all about the lack of sleep and pain and love more than life itself, the most beautiful little gift God has given you! :)
