quick photo update

Sorry = - no time for blogging we are CRAZY busy - just wanted to show some pics of the new place. We have been working like CRAZY to get it set up and still have stuff to do - we LOVE IT!

MAINE

In June we will be making a voyage up to Maine to attend a memorial service for our Aunt Judy.
Since Ben hates the car so much and it's such a long trip, we were thinking of finding a place to rent near a beach so that we could also make is a mini vacation .

So begins our search for an affordable rental for a long weekend in June on the coast of Maine with 2 sleeping areas (one for us and the baby and one for Katie) and possibly a kitchen. Oh and yeah we want to be near water too....

I'm sure this will end up in frustration and disappointment - but we can hope that maybe due to the weather lately, people have been canceling reservations or something!

30th/Mothers Day

I am 30 - I Know, I know - crazy right - I was kinda depressed about the whole thing and then I got cards and presents and just perked right up!
hahaha

I made out like a BANDIT between mothers day and my birthday! I should have turned 30 years ago!


Katie went to my parents for a few days on an adventure - so here I am the morning of my birthday with my special Caramel Latte and my favorite little guy! (no Katie)

Well, Ben is almost 2 months old and I still HAVE NOT gotten peed on!!!


Here he is later on smiling :) Such a handsome little man if I do say so myself!

We have been having a decent time during the day. Katie is AMAZING most days. She's more challenging with Dave when he gets home if he isn't paying total attention to her. Ben absolutely refuses a bottle so he and I are attached for the long haul at this point.

He's pretty serious about nursing - he grabs my shirt every time he eats - almost as if to say,
"hey lady - Don't go anywhere!"

It's super frustrating because I really just want to be able to go to Spinning and Zumba but depending on when he's eaten - it makes it VERY hard to even just do that a few days a week. I know it's best for him so I'm trying to push through and not get too frustrated with the fact that our schedule is totally random depending on when and how long he wants to eat for.

The NICE thing is that I went to the gym yesterday and randomly got asked if they could take my body fat percentage cause they were teaching a new employee and I happily found out that I am still in the average range for my age (30 - YIKES) so I guess I have less weight to lose than I thought. My body has definitely changed shape regardless of the weight and I am just hoping that I don't have to buy an entirely new wardrobe!!!

I have started packing up some non-essentials to get ready for our move - needless to say the next few weeks will be hectic for us - but it will be worth it in the end!

I have to say - it was pretty awesome and I don't even like peanut butter that much!

Other than that, we are all doing well - gotta run Ben needs to eat... again
