Daddy's 30th Birthday Cont'd

Looking Ghetto Fabulous in a swimmy diaper and t-shirt since her idiot mommy didn't pack her bathing suite cause she thought it'd be too cold for the water stuff.

We had the best weekend ever! Our best friends in the world came down to visit us in New Jersey and they brought Dave a birthday cake. We went to the park across the street, they took us all out to dinner and we sang Happy Birthday to Dave and watched him try to blow out the trick candles for about a minute! (Stephanie put the whole package on - so he had about 10 to blow out and eventually Jeremy and I had to take them out individually and dunk them in water so we didn't burn the house down!

Then this morning we woke up and packed Katie up to take her to Sesame Place for the first time. (we are season pass holders now - so we figured let's go as much as we can!) We thought it was going to be rainy and cold out - so we figured we'd take her to see a Elmo's World Live show and the parade and call it a day - but when we got there it was CRAZY HOT AND humid and everyone was going on the water rides.... so we bought a $5 swimmy diaper and a $20 towel and let her go crazy. Dave and I of course had no change of clothes so we were wet all day long and in fact Dave had to ride home with his shirt off part of the way since it was so wet! But Katie had an AWESOME TIME.
She walked right up to the characters and loved the Elmo's World show. She loved all the kiddie pools and on the ride home fell asleep for awhile. All in all, it was an AWESOME weekend and we get to continue celebrating Dave's 30th birthday by going to dinner Tuesday night at a Spanish place (his pick) and then going away for the weekend to Boston (Katie will be at Mimi's) before heading back to CT for Mothers Day on our way back from beantown!
Happy May everyone - it's a GREAT month to be born:)

Everything is so cute. She is such a good little talker. Can't wait to go to Sesame Place. I will try to bookmark these sites and frequent more often.
