Hi all!!! Figured I should give a good update on what Katie is up to these days.
At her 9 month check up she weighed in at 19.5 pounds and measured 27 inches. (she grew 3 inches in 3 months!!!) She is outgrowing her 9 month clothes daily and fits into 12 month clothes already - she is no longer 'petite:)
She went from Army crawling to regular crawling overnight and can easily pull herself up on ANY surface. She travels around the house holding onto things and will even walk between toys as long as she can put one hand on each. We think she will be walking in no time. She waves hello and goodbye and she just started pointing at things the other day.
She still loves reading books and can successfully point out a Pumpkin, Pooh, Mickey and a bee on her farm when you ask her. She will even turn the pages in the book until she finds the pumpkin page.
She's very social and loves to meet new people wherever we go... watch out - if you see her in a store... you better say hi - because she's expecting it and will wave for 5 minutes after you are gone.
She is very good at sharing and will give you the toys she is playing with if you ask her. She will even give you the bink out of her mouth if you ask. She eats puffs which are basically like cheerio type cereal things that dissolve really easily and will share those with you too... but watch out, by the time they get into your mouth they will be slimey!

This week I took her to visit Mimi and Grumps and she learned how to climb up all the stairs. (a few weeks ago, daddy showed me how to do the bottom 2 but this time I was brave enough to go all the way to the top.

That's my smart little Katie. Have fun Trick or Treating and mommy & daddy don't eat all the candy all at once.
